Kerala samajam Youth of South Florida (KSY) is a non-for profit organization used to promote cultural unity and to teach the youth about their culture. They inspire kids to be role models, leaders, and active members in society. We instill life lessons in our youth and promote moral fortitude through our involvement in the community at large. Some of the social activities of the Samajam include Humanitarian aid to disaster victims, blood donations, conducting leadership and medical camps etc. We are one of the most vibrant and active Indian organizations in Florida, with an average 6 to 8 major functions every year. 

 

 

  • To establish better understanding among Keralites residing in the South Florida area.
  • To maintain contacts between Keralites of South Florida and those in the homeland.
  • To foster friendship among Keralites, other Indians, and Americans.
  • To render all possible assistance to newly arriving Keralites in South Florida and to others who are in need.
  • To provide a forum for the Keralites and their descendents residing in the United States of America to preserve and foster their moral, social, cultural, educational, literary, and artistic heritage.
  • To transmit unique heritage to the coming generations.
  • To establish a forum for youth to maintain and invigorate cultural heritage handed down by their forefathers.
  • To raise, solicit and receive funds, charities and donations to carry out worthy humanitarian causes.
  • To organize debates, lectures, exhibitions, research works, outdoor/indoor entertainments, public meetings, conventions, classes, and refresher courses.
  • To award scholarships, prizes, medals, stipends, educational aids, and loans to deserving candidates.

  • To associate or maintain contact with any other corporation having same or similar goals.
